for myself at least - almost a week later, when I'm physically home but my mind is still reluctant to return - it's definitely satisfying to have lingering visual reminders and memories of a highly enjoyable visit with a very special friend. they're no substitute for the actuality, but I'm glad to have the remembrances and can't help but anticipate a next time.
